Park Hyatt Goa : Last year I decided to take a break after my exams. Therefore, I planned a trip with my brothers to Goa. We were stay at Park Hyatt Goa. This was the third time I am visiting Goa but the Stay at Park Hyatt made this trip the best one I ever had. I would describe it as the most elegant and luxurious hotel I have ever visited. Top quality service, spa, and food provided by Park Hyatt just so loveable.

As a student I had done my part and given all my exams on time and therefore during vacation time I could enjoy straight from the heart without any guilty pangs! I had been dreaming of exotic destinations far away but with my tight budget I could only stick to places close by. At last I settled on Kerala! What appealed to me most about the mysterious land of Kerala was the majestic Western Ghats and the many opportunities for trekking that came with it! So as soon as I landed in Cochin I made my way to a budget hotel called Ajantha Regency which I had booked earlier. With a little help from the hotel staff I managed to enjoy a trekking expedition. Afterwards when I had had my fill of adventure and excitement I went street shopping. The streets of Cochin are filled with many small shops that sell almost anything and everything. The most common items in all of the shops were the handicrafts of Kerala. These crafts were so intricately designed that I stood mesmerised for quite some time! Before heading back to the hotel I made a stop at a restaurant to try some of the local cuisine and what I found was a portal to a whole new world! Kerala has always been famous for its seafood but most of us underestimate it. Only when I took a bite of the delicious seafood did I understand what I had been missing out on all of this time! The night life in Kerala is a very exciting affair especially the Tandav Discos in the Le Meridien hotel. This is perhaps one of the most exciting places in the city and here I found myself having the best time of my life! There is so much to do in Kerala that just one holiday doesn’t seem enough! I will definitely be going back for more!
Hi…this is Ayushi Manroa…a 23 year old vivacious and enthusiastic college student from Pune. Ardently interested in fun and adventure, travelling around to different places has been one of my favorite past times. Having visited many places in the North, my attention shifted to interesting places in South India. I’ve always wondered why, but Chennai had somehow caught my fascination and I wanted to visit this Metropolis. In school I had learnt that this was the Gateway to Southern India, the capital of Tamil Nadu and a major port. With the little pocket money that I had thriftily saved I finally decided to make a dream trip to this city. I enquired and googled on the Hotels in Chennai and found that the place had some nice budget hotels that could well accommodate young travellers like me. So parking aside my urge to go trekking up the Western Ghats and taking the sacred dip in the Ganges, I headed to Chennai. Hotels in Chennai : Gems of the Metro Ginger Hotel ChennaiImage Resource : gingerhotels.com After a comfortable journey with a lovely family that kept me good company I reached Chennai Central and made my way to the much recommended Ginger Hotel there. Living up to its reputation, Ginger Hotel swept me into its comfort and offered me a beautiful stay. The elegantly designed rooms and the soothing ambience were more than I could ask for. The Square Meal…the restaurant in the hotel offered delicious meals and kept me well fed right through my stay there. Hotels in Chennai like the Hyatt Regency, Spencer Plaza, Benzz Park and the Ambassador Pallava are luxury hotels in the city renowned for their hospitality and comfort. The remarkable Marina Beach, the arcane Mahabalipuram, the beautiful malls and the theaters gave me a holiday beyond compare. The churches with their tall towers and spires pointing to the sky paraded a beauty beyond description. The Classical Recitals, the fascinating discotheques, the old museums, the modern Internet Centers and the latest fast food joints offering the most delightful dishes are good enough to make any one’s holiday worthwhile. Walking down the roads of this city of paradoxes, street shopping and haggling with the vendors in a language I did not know, added to my joy. So within my tight budget my holiday in Chennai was truly one of the best! Image Resource : adarshh.com (Marina Beach), shwetachennai12.wordpress.com (Street Shopping Chennai)
I am a student from Hosur and I just recently found myself with a lot of spare time on my hands after my exams and I had save some money up over the years and so I thought what better way than to go on a little trip. Since I had a tight budget I set my eyes on Bangalore and packed my bags to go! I found a very reasonably priced two star hotel called the Akshaya regency. At first I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel but all my fears melted the moment I stepped into the hotel! The interiors were so elegantly decorated and the rooms all came equipped with all the basic facilities that I found myself in need of and all this for such an affordable price that didn’t even punch a hole in pocket! After a little help from the travel desk I was able to book a trekking expedition and a tour of all the major tourist attractions in and around the city. After a while I decided to explore the city on my own and what I found was absolutely amazing! There are so many shopping districts set out at key points in the district and there are so many entertainment options in the form of theatres, restaurants, museums, parks and malls that I could barely find time for them all during my short visit! There is so much more to see and so much more to experience in Bangalore and I’ll be sure to come back for more! After an entire year of intense studying I had finally written my last paper and was free from the shackles of school at last. Since I had saved up some money I decided on taking matters into my own hand and plan a vacation for myself. So by killing two birds with one stone I picked Mahabaleshwar to be my holiday destination, it was close to where I live and it also had just the right climate I needed to beat the heat this summer. My savings where not much but they were just enough to afford a few nights at the Nells Hotel in Mahabaleshwar. This hotel had all the makings of a very luxurious hotel but it came at such an affordable price that I just had to take it! On my first morning at the hotel I woke up to see the sun come out from behind the surrounding Western Ghats and it was such a breath-taking sight! The travel desk at the hotel helped me book a trekking expedition and they even gave me a list of things I might need. I found every item on the list when I went street shopping and once I had bargained, bought and packed my stuff I was ready to go on an adventure never to forget! The whole experience was a new one for me and it was just the right thing that my young heart wanted and at the end of the day when I made it back to the hotel and got ready to go home I promised myself that I will come back again!
Every summer vacation it was the same routine spending time with my family and friends and gearing up for the year ahead! This time I decided to do a little something special and with a little help from my grandfather I was able to pool in enough money for a trip to Jaipur and I could also afford a few nights at a Jaipur hotel like the Apna Niwas Blisszone bed and breakfast, a comfy little hotel that was just right for my holiday. The rooms were so reasonably priced that I feared I may have to compensate elsewhere but I am happy to say that throughout my stay there never arose a situation where I had to do so. The rooms were well equipped with all the basic facilities and they even offered a great view of the city and its pink forts. I decided to get out and explore the city myself and what I found were hundreds of little shops on streets that sold anything and everything from small souvenirs to traditional handlooms. I did not notice how much time had passed while street shopping and found myself heading back to the hotel late with heavy bags in each hand. The next morning I woke up early and went on a trekking expedition which the hotel was nice enough to set up for me. The cool mountain breeze was just what I needed and the adrenaline rush you get when you go on such adventures is absolutely amazing! I found myself planning my next visit to the Jaipur hotels before I even left! his summer I decided to really make every moment of my holidays count! So I set out to find the dream holiday and it didn’t take much long before I settled on Goa. The destination just appealed to my young heart and I settled on it and even convinced a few of my friends to come with me. We all rented out a car and drove to Goa. We booked a room at Adamo the Bellus a three star resort at Goa with reasonably priced rooms that were just right for our tight budget. The rooms were well-maintained with clean sheets and every room came with all the basic necessities that we wanted. Whenever we were free we found ourselves at the Calangute Beach which is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and here we would spend hours just talking and having a good time as the ocean breeze would blow on our faces. We even booked a trekking expedition from the hotel and went street shopping at the famous night bazaar in Goa. But the most cherished memories were made at night when we had a taste of the true Goan night life! There are so many bars and clubs in Goa where the party just never ends! We club hopped to our heart’s content and when we were done we partied some more! There are even some exclusive parties that take place on the beach. To sit around a bon fire with friends sharing stories and jokes were some of the highlights of my holiday in Goa!
It was our final year as students and we planned to enjoy it by taking a trip to Chennai, where the Marina Beach and the various other sightseeing places were sure to enthrall us. Since this was a small get together with only a few of us we chose one of the best budget hotels in Chennai for our staying accommodations. We had a choice of Everest Hotel Chennai, Hotel Abu Palace, Hotel Mount Heera of which we chose the Everest Hotel Chennai. Not only was it near the bus stand and the railway station but also was situated in the centre of the city. Budget Hotels in Chennai: An Affordable Luxury! As soon as we checked into the hotel we went to the travel counter in this hotel where we were able to get an idea of the places to visit. In fact charting an itinerary aided us in being able to fully utilize our holidays. Since we were put in 2 Executive rooms having amenities such as telephone, cushioned armchair and color TV, direct dialing facility, Wi-Fi, etc we actually had a great staying experience. We spend the first two days visiting Guindy race course, Kodambakkam, Thousand Lights, Fort St.George etc. The next day was wholly spend at the Marina Beach where we felt all our tensions of the coming exams just float away and gave us the feeling of being young more. In the evenings we went to our rooms where we were well taken care of. With souvenirs like objects made from silver and wood from street shopping and a satisfied smile we left for our homes! And we came to the conclusion that even budget hotels in Chennai are really groovy! My husband is such a workaholic that it was a real surprise when he came home one day and told me to pack for a few days trip to New-Delhi. Later I learned from him that his company has booked in The Ashok New Delhi for a two day meeting. It seems this hotel was one of the best business Delhi hotels and provided some great business facilities like conference suite, audio-visual facilities, LCD/projector, board room and conference equipments. Since this place was also set near some of the many commercial and tourist destination he thought this could be a great place to mix business with pleasure and I was all for it! Hotels in Delhi : An Unbelievable Luxury! Last time I went to Delhi was when I was a young student and we were under the teachers control but here with my hubby it became a true adventure! We visited some beautiful wonders that truly enthralled us especially the Taj Mahal. The Western Ghats across the River Ganges also was a majestic sight that no words can explain. After traipsing around the city we were more than ready for a day in the Amatrra, the life style spa in The Ashok hotel. They had an open air swimming pool, gym, therapy rooms, yoga, salon, sauna and what not. This hotel truly became our favorite and there is no doubt on the fact that it is one of the best Delhi hotels! Before leaving we also went for a light shopping and believe me it was truly a great experience! The rare antiques, silks, jewelries, all made me faint with joy. But the departure was also so at hand and with the most wonderful memories captured in our minds we left for our home! |
